The story of Robin Hood is the Story of the triumph of Right over Might.

When King Richard is away fighting a bitter war with his enemy the French on their own soil, his brother, Prince John plots with the other nobles to oust the king and capture the throne of England. Only Lord Alfred, a champion and a potential ally of King Richard refuses to bow to the wishes of the Vily Prince.
